In-Person Nutrition Counseling Appointments

Personalized to YOUR unique needs

In personalized one-on-one sessions, you’ll sit down with a dietitian to delve into your unique needs- your habits, preferences, and the “why” behind your eating patterns. We all have underlying factors that influence our eating behaviors. By fostering a deeper understanding of your body’s signals,  you’ll learn to trust your internal cues and make changes that feel right for your whole self.

Insurance accepted!

Virtual Nutrition Counseling Appointments

Personalized to YOUR unique needs

Virtual (telehealth) nutrition counseling appointments are a convenient way to work with a dietitian. We will cover the same topics as an in-person visit, but from the comfort of your home! Please note you must be in Montana or Washington state at the time of the virtual visit due to dietitian licensure laws.

Insurance accepted!

Frequently Asked Questions

Please review these questions before inquiring about appointments and services.

Yes! I offer virtual (video conferencing) and in-person visits. Clients being seen virtual must be in Montana or Washington state at the time of the visit due to licensing laws.

Maybe, it depends on your insurance. Many do not require a referral, however Medicare and MT Medicaid do. Please see Billing & Insurance for information about Medicare, Medicaid, and other plans.

During our one-on-one sessions, we’ll chat about your eating habits, medical history, physical activity, stress, sleep, and other aspects of your well-being. Together, we’ll explore your current habits, understand the reasons behind them, and develop a personalized plan to help you achieve your health goals. My approach is supportive and non-restrictive—I won’t take away your favorite foods or act as the “food police.” Instead, we’ll focus on setting realistic, achievable goals that promote a healthier, more balanced you.

You can schedule as many or as few visits as you’d like—there’s no minimum requirement. Your care plan is entirely flexible and tailored to your personal goals and needs.

Absolutely! Many insurance plans offer preventative nutrition counseling benefits. See “how to verify my insurance benefits” for what codes to ask for.

Active eating disorders, kids age 3 & under, and tube feedings.

Everyone’s journey with weight is unique, and so is my approach. Rather than prescribing strict, calorie-restricted diets, I focus on a non-diet, holistic approach that emphasizes building sustainable habits for overall health. We’ll explore the psychological aspects of eating, helping you understand your body’s cues and develop a healthier relationship with food.

Weight is influenced by various factors beyond just diet and exercise. Genetics, trauma history, financial constraints, and access to nutritious foods all play significant roles. Recognizing this complexity, I provide a non-judgmental space to address these elements.

Whether you’re aiming to lose weight, gain weight, or maintain your current weight, I’m here to support you. This includes individuals who are underweight, experiencing unintentional weight loss, or have been diagnosed with failure-to-thrive.
